Project Engineer

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.

0 to 4 years experience in design or analysis of steel structures and foundations.

Proficiency in Excel and Word required. Proficiency in Access, AutoCAD, Inventor, and structural analysis programs preferred.

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and exceptional problem solving skills.

Engineering Intern (EI/EIT) certification preferred.

Position Description
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Design and analyze monopoles, self-supporting towers, guyed towers, tower mounts, and other tower accessories for the telecommunications industry to ensure compliance with national and local codes and standards.

Prepare tower, parts, and foundation drawings, structural analysis reports, and bills of material.

Develop engineering systems and programs to improve quality and efficiency in the engineering processes.

Work with customers to develop solutions to their projects specific problems.

Assist sales department with quotes for towers, parts, and engineering services.

Work with manufacturing department to ensure quality and efficiency.

Work with purchasing department to ensure compliance with engineering and material standards.
