Title:
Robot Welder Programmer

Description:
Program, set up and operate robot welding machine to fabricate metal products according to specifications and blueprints.
 

 

Qualifications:
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Weld Engineering, Robotics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in programming and operating robotic welding systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Robot Operating System (ROS), G-code, or similar.
• Strong understanding of welding processes, techniques, and materials.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in robotic welding programming or equivalent.
• Experience with specific robotic welding systems (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA).
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for welding applications.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and standards in welding.
• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Responsibilities:

• Program and set up robotic welding systems to perform specified welding tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to understand welding requirements for various projects.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to develop welding programs.
• Optimize welding parameters to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and evaluate welding processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Train and mentor other team members in robotic welding programming and operation.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
