Tower Technician (South Bend)
The Tower Technician is responsible for assisting the Sales Department with the development and growth of existing customers by completing and delivering quotes for the manufacture and distribution of telecommunications support structures.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associates and two to five years of relevant manufacturing experience required. Computer proficiency in MS Word, Access, Excel and database applications necessary
Design and estimate simple poles for the utility industry and self supports towers and poles for the telecommunications industry. Must have a good grasp on how to use PLS-Pole and TNXTower as well as spreadsheets for cost data. Process detailed and technical quotes from customers to find and record all pertinent information for structure design. Work as a team with inside and outside sales representatives and customers to research and obtain all pertinent information for structure design. Work in compliance with established procedures and protocols to use computer programs that run structure design programs. Prepare formal quotations and submittals with accuracy. Ensure that quote schedules are met, priorities are observed and deviations are communicated to the department. Act as a focal point for technical support questions from the sales department as well as customers.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and efficiently manage time. Ability to be innovative and creative in problem-solving
