This position includes maintenance on all manufacturing machines, as well as tools throughout the facility. General maintenance, including Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machine. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Qualifications:
To receive consideration for this position all Maintenance Technician for Nello Corporation must be able to perform the following essential physical job functions daily.
The ability to stand and or walk frequently; to occasionally bend/stoop, kneel, crouch, and squat in order to operate and maintain the physical plant. To frequently lift up to 50 pounds of weight from the floor to above shoulders. This weight will be constituted by the following items, but not limited to them: tools, toolboxes and tool bags, ladders, filters, motors, bags of salt and equipment. The ability to tolerate required personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, work gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, and dust masks; read work orders, understanding the task given. Check the performance of machinery, adjust and align machine parts; repair or replace broken malfunctioning components; clean and lubricate equipment or machinery. Ability to read, writes, speak and understand English fluently; meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
High School or Equivalent
Previous Maintenance Technician a plus
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of machines. The Maintenance Technician will ensure operation and control down time of machinery and equipment by following preventative and predictive maintenance plans. Will perform other work-related duties as assigned. Maintain regular and consistent attendance in accordance with the Nello attendance policy.
